Job start – as soon as possible

Grade 4, 37 hours, Term time plus 5 inset days (£15,023 to £17,255) dependent on experience and number of years’ service)

Working with Outwood Grange Academies Trust, Carlton Community College invites applications from reliable and conscientious individuals to work under the guidance of teaching staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement work programmes with individuals/groups in or out of the classroom including the supervision of whole classes during the short term absence of teachers.

Applicants will have Level 2Qualifications in English and Maths grades A*to C (or equivalent) and should have experience and knowledge of the following:

  • Supervising students in a classroom environment;
  • Dealing with challenging behaviour;
  • Ability and willingness to inspire students and get the best out of them during lessons.

Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
