General Information about AGE and Rules of Athletics Tournament

The athletics /player should be within the particular age group on 31 December of the year of competition 2017

(a)Only bonafide students shall be eligible to participate in the inter-school tournament/ meet. Feeding any non bonafide shall lead to disqualification of the team.

(b)A student who has failed twice in a particular class shall no more be eligible to participate.

(c)Incomplete information in any respect is liable for disqualification of team/ athlete.

(d)Any violation in eligible (over age or impersonation) shall be dealt according to rules.

(e)Medical check up may be also be applied by the Jury of Appeal appointed by the Organising school in the cases of overage suspicion.

(f)A player shall be under 14,17,& 19 Years of age on 31 December 2017.

  1. Under 14 years: Born on or after 01.01.2004
  2. Under 17 years: Born on or after 01.01.2001
  3. Under 19 years: Born on or after 01.01.1999

(g)All the supporting papers verifying the age of the players , etc in original, as per the CBSE Guidelines & Rules shall be carried personally by the Team Manager/ Coach while reporting for participation.

(h)The player’s right to participate forfeits if fails to produce the papers

supporting the eligibility in original on demand.

Any team/athlete not fulfilling the eligibility criteria before the commencement of the tournament/meet shall not be permitted to participate.

General / Mandatory Instructions

  1. Presence in Opening Ceremony and March Past is mandatory for all schools and athletes.
  2. All participating Schools /Athletes must attend closing Ceremony Meet.
  3. Escort Coaches/Managers shall be held responsible for their students behaviour and use of slang languages. The same shall be reported to their school Principal/ Management.
  4. At the time of event in progress only participating or qualified student/athlete shall be entitled to enter in track and field arena, other students/athletes shall be expected to stay out of track & Field arena.
  5. Athletes must give their attendance in first call room 45 min prior to scheduled time of event.
  6. It is mandatory for all coaches/ managers / athletes to wear accreditation card during days of meet irrespective they are in or out of school campus.
  7. It is mandatory for all the schools to deposit total amount for all the days of competition as per CBSE norms at the time of reporting.
  8. Should bring two School Flags of their school.
  9. Escorting coaches and managers are expected to maintain their students

in discipline.

  1. Students movement after 10:10 p.m. outside their accommodation room shall not be allowed.
  2. It is mandatory for all coaches & Managers to stay with students in their

allotted accommodation room.

  1. Bringing or use of tobacco sachets, cigarettes and liquor is strictly

prohibited in school campus.

  1. If any coach / manager/ student is found drunk or smoking in campus,

his/ her team shall be disqualified with immediate effect and same will be informed to their principal

  1. Only Veg meals will be served in school campus.
  2. The host school shall not be responsible for any incident happens out of school campus during outing of any coach/ manager/team of athlete.
