SUPERB LEAD REIN/FIRST PONY CLUB PONY
Wonderful 11.2hh 15 years Welsh Section A mare. We have owned Samantha for three and a half years and in that time she has taken my very nervous daughter (then just 7 years) from lead rein to confidently competing in all PC disciplines.
This little pony is a sweetheart and can be totally trusted with the smallest of children. She does not buck, rear, nap, whip round, bolt and would never hurt a child. She has been an active member of the Woodland Pytchley PC for the last three years and has won/been placed in PC showjumping, working hunter pony, eventer/hunter trials, dressage and a ODE. She has done the additional training sessions at PC for the last three years, as well as two years of mini camp and her first residential intermediate camp last year, where she was a star! She has often been used at PC rallies to demonstrate bandaging, tacking up etc as she is more than happy to stand quietly whilst little ones learn.
She is barefoot and has never had laminitis, sweet itch, etc. Good to box, catch, lives in or out and is happy to be turned out with mares or geldings. We have not done a huge amount of hacking on busy roads as we tend to go off road onto bridleways (done lots on Brampton Valley Way) but she will hack out happily on her own and in company on and off the lead rein. She is superb to lunge, responds well to the voice and is snaffle mouthed.
My daughter has happily moved straight onto a 13.2hh and so we now require a loving and experienced home for Samantha as she has such a lot to offer another little family.
