About Dr. David Y. Graham
David Yates Graham, M.D. is Professor of Medicine and Virology, as well as Chief of the Digestive Disease Division at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Noted as one of the 50 most prominent gastroenterologists of the 20th century, Dr. Graham also serves as Chief of Gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine and VA Medical Center in Houston. He is a Master of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), and a Fellow of The Infectious Diseases Society of American and American College of Physicians as well as member of numerous research associations. A prolific researcher and physician, Dr. Graham has published over 600 articles, contributed to 30 books, and over 20 letters. He is a recipient of The Michael E. DeBakey, M.D. Award for Excellence in Research (1994), the Janssen Award for Special Achievement in Gastroenterology, and The ACG Distinguished Lecture Award. Dr. Graham’s research interests include, Helicobacter pylori infections, mycobacterium paratuberculosis as a cause of Crohn's disease, and prevention of Norwalk virus infections.
