Performance Criteria
To meet the standard, you
1 / confirm the specific tasks and objectives allocated to you within the public order operation and the parameters in which you may operate2 / ensure you have the required authorities for the tasks allocated to you
3 / obtain a briefing on the tasks and objectives which have been allocated to other units to allow you to interface with them effectively
4 / gather and review information and intelligence in relation to your tasks and objectives
5 / identify information with broader relevance to the public order operation and report through the appropriate channels
6 / engage with stakeholders and key personnel where necessary to determine suitable working arrangements
7 / confirm that you have sufficientresourcesto carry out the tasks allocated to you, reporting any deficiencies to the operational (Bronze)commander
8 / check that all personnel under your command are properly dressed with identification numerals visible, are in possession of the required equipment and are competent to use it
9 / liaise with theoperational (Bronze) commander to identify a specific plan of action and any tactical responses to counter identified risks
10 / brief your team on the public order operation and the specific tasks and objectives to be achieved, ensuring that they understand their roles, the roles of others and the parameters in which they can operate
