Expectations for Games and Stand Behavior

1.  Arrive on time!

2.  Arrive in FULL performance attire without any missing uniform items.

3.  All Sweethearts are expected to sit upright, to have their ankles crossed, to smile, and to maintain good posture overall.

4.  All Sweethearts are expected to be attentive during football games and to participate in crowd cheers with the cheerleaders.

5.  Be a good sport. Sweethearts are not to make any negative remarks about either team.

6.  Maintain “performance mode” while in the stands. Remember that the team is there to support the players on the field and not to socialize.

7.  TALKING DURING HALFTIME LINEUP IS NOT PERMITTED!

8.  TALKING ON THE FIELD/COURT IS NOT PERMITTED!

9.  After the performance, regroup and get into the team stand order. Sweethearts will walk in as a group into the stands with their director.

10.  The use of cell phones in the stands is strictly prohibited unless a girl notifies the director that she needs to contact a parent for an emergency reason.

11.  Magazines, books, and homework are not allowed in the stands.

12.  All Sweethearts are expected to sit with the team during the 1st, 2nd, and 4th quarter and are not to walk around socializing with friends, etc. During 3rd quarter, the Sweethearts have this quarter off to get a snack from the concession stands and socialize with family and friends. Sweethearts must be back in their assigned stand seat at the time the director announces at the end of the half time performance.

13.  Sweethearts are NOT allowed to chew gum, eat snacks, go to the concession stand, etc. while in the stands.

14.  Sweethearts are to only drink water while in uniform.

15.  All Sweethearts are expected to stay for the ENTIRE game, UNLESS a game goes past 9:00. The girls will never have to stay past that time.
