Business Proposal

February 26, 2009

The name of my business is Raccoon River Outfitters. We are a privately owned and operated game farm. Our service to the customers is a friendly, enjoyable and rewarding experience at a moderately affordable price.

The customers we are trying to find interest in our company are suburban or out of state individuals looking at taking a trophy animal they may not have an opportunity at otherwise and at an affordable rate.

My game farm proposal is not a lot different than any other one. The main differences being our game would not be fenced in and you aren’t charged for a hunting fee if you don’t bag a trophy. If you do end up getting a trophy then you would be required to pay a fee depending on the size of the trophy, which is unlike any other farm. This is the reason customers would want to come to my business over another one. They aren’t charged un-godly amounts of money if they don’t bag a trophy.

The market is huge and growing every year. With more and more individuals becoming interested in the outdoors public ground that has not been hunted hard is hard to come by.

The way I will make money is charging individuals for the chance to hunt here, and then if they get a trophy they will be charged for that as well. Lodging and taxidermy options are something to look at in the future for more money making opportunities.

I’ve grown up hunting all of my life and have access to large amounts of land. All of this ground is private so no one else will have access to the ground during hunting season. This is the perfect time to be getting in to the business because of farmers and landowners looking for new ways to make their ground more profitable. Better yet the ground that is good for hunting is some of the landowner’s poorest ground, just another way for them to make a dollar.

I’m looking for an entrepreneurial team that loves the outdoors and a great business set mind that would be able to find more ways to make money and other ways to differentiate ourselves from other game farms.
