<o:p</o:p<o:p</o:p>

<o:p</o:p</SPAN>You can open the FC-18 Service menu by Service Menu enabler. The Service menu includes several screens, you can go through by ▲▼ buttons. I can not make their photos due to a display reflection. I hope then pictures will be enough for you.

Next screens are listed in the ▼ button order.

  1. Display test.

All pixels should be black.

  1. Transmitter initialisation

"execute" blinks

Hardware reset is started by pressing SET and CLR buttons simultaneously. Programs in transmitter will be deleted, all stick calibration values will be erased and you will need recalibrate the radio. May be some other settings will be changed (voltmeter…) who knows?

I can not recommend usage of this functionality.

  1. EEPROM test

"execute" blinks

It should be a screen to tests the transmitter EEPROM memory but I did not manage to get any response on this screen.

  1. Keypad test

Keypad test. Once key is pressed relevant symbol disappears.

  1. Switch test

The first line: Switches in "OFF" position.

The second line: Switches in "ON" position.

Once a switch position is changed relevant symbol disappears.

  1. ExtTrim test ?

It should be a screen to tests external trimmers. As I have none I did not manage to get a response on this screen.

  1. Narrow calibration

Move both sticks fully left and fully up, set switches and sliders fully up (their appropriate positions depend on their installation direction). Press SET and CLR buttons simultaneously (it is acrobatic performance 8o) )

Confirmation of successful calibration:

Relevant symbol disappears

Note: These controls can be calibrated individually. Any control that we do not wish to calibrate must remain at the centre of its range.

  1. Wide calibration

Move both sticks fully right and fully low, set switches and sliders fully down (their appropriate positions depend on their installation direction). Press SET and CLR buttons simultaneously.

Confirmation of successful calibration:

Relevant symbol disappears

Note: These controls can be calibrated individually. Any control that we do not wish to calibrate must remain at the centre of its range.

  1. Neutral calibration

Move both sticks to neutral (centre) including throttle, set switches and sliders to centre (if it is possible). Press SET and CLR buttons simultaneously.

Confirmation of successful calibration:

Relevant symbol disappears

Note: These controls can be calibrated individually. Any control that we do not wish to calibrate must not remain at the centre of its range.

  1. Voltmeter

numbers blink

It should be a screen to tests or sets voltmeter and trimmer (What does trimmer mean? I have no idea.). I did not manage to get any response on this screen.

That is all. I know nothing more. Every usage of this information is at your own risk. I can not take any risk of your transmitter damage.

A lot of Futaba Robbe information you can find on Roman Kolbabek site, including FC-28 Service Menu and other comments and suggestions. Although site is done in the Czech language it can be useful for you.<o:p</o:p>
