5) Financial need taken into consideration, but is not principal criterion. Academics and extracurricular/volunteer activities will be considered for success at the college level.

Requirements:
1) Must be a graduating senior at Dixon High who has been accepted to one of
the 16 constituent campuses of the University of North Carolina.
2) Must be a resident of North Carolina under NCGS 116-143.1 and is eligible
in-state tuition.
3) Must have exemplified the membership philosophy of credit unions, “People
Helping People” and have demonstrated leadership, excellence of character, integrity, and community involvement.
4) Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher and may show a financial need.
5) Must continue as a full-time student in good standing with the same university
for eight (8) consecutive semesters.
6) Cannot be a director, employee, or family member of the State Employees’
Credit Union or the SECU Foundation.
7) School scholarship committee will conduct an interview to determine recipient. DO
