NEPTUNE 100 is a high quality and reliable marine transceiver designed to be waterproof (it conforms to IP57 standard) and resistant to salt corrosion. The large LCD display allow a clear view of all the information and the short depth of the unit allow an easy installation in all the conditions.
NEPTUNE 100 allows you to transmit and receive on all international channels of the VHF marine band in complete security, as established by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
Thanks to the built-in DSC system Class “D”, NEPTUNE 100 is in conformity with the present marine equipment Directive.
NEPTUNE 100 can be connected to a GPS receiver for the continuous updating of the vessel position; the marine transceiver is also supplied with another built-in receiver which operates automatically and continuously on the channel 70.
Main functions:
·  Built-in DSC system – Class “D” – with automatic DSC queue
·  Principal buttons duplicated in the microphone for faster accessibility – channel selection up and down, menu and channel 16 recall.
·  Large LCD display with backlit for optimal viewing.
·  Adjustable Squelch
·  Channel 16 recall button (it’s the universal marine channel most frequently used as emergency channel).
·  Transmission power of 25W reducible to 1W
·  Connection to an external speaker (optional)
·  Dual Watch function – it allows the monitoring of channel 16 while you are tuned on a channel at your choice.
·  Triple Watch function – it allows the monitoring of channels 9 and 16 while you are tuned on a channel at your choice
·  16 MMSI addresses (identification code of the vessel) programmable
·  20 channels programmable for authorised professional purposes (in this case, it is required the optional programmer software “PRG NEPTUNE 100”).
