Venerable Fundraising Event Booked for March 29 through April 1 in Vail!
DENVER (December 12, 2011) – For the seventeenth consecutive year, the Cable and Telecommunications industry will gather to host an event which has become the single largest source of support for the U.S. National Paralympic Ski Team known as Adaptive Spirit’s SkiTAM.
SkiTAM 2012 will take place on Thursday, March 29 through Sunday, April 1 in Vail, Colorado. Proceeds from the event directly benefit the amazing athletes of the U.S. National Paralympic Ski Team.
By the numbers, SkiTAM has grown from 110 attendees in 1996 to over 1,000 in 2010 and has raised over $6 million dollars in its sixteen year history - continuing its mission to fulfill the dreams of Paralympic athletes. The event is also well known to many in the industry as a rare combination of networking, giving, family fun and business, and includes informative panel discussions, an exciting silent and live auction event and, of course, the team downhill race.
