I Would Like to Introduce the New Officers for the Fiscal Year

Brothers,

First I will introduce myself to the membership. I am Dave Brusky and my wife Kathy and I moved to Janesville in 2009. We have three grown children, Lora here in Janesville, Brian in Kansas and Krista our traveler.

As I take the position of Grand Knight from Sir Knight Mike Hinaus I ask for your prayers and help as we tend to the business of doing our charitable works. Council 9360 is a busy group doing many charitable activities and we need your help to get it all done. You were likely asked by a friend or relative to join because they felt you had the right stuff as a kind and giving gentleman. That’s who we need now to accomplish our works and show to our parish community what we can do!! As the new Grand Knight I ask you to give us one project you will help with. I also want to know what skills and interests you have so I’ll include my email and phone at the end. We want to do things that are of interest to members so give us ideas that we can look at. Attend a meeting and present your idea as well.

I hope those that attended the Snappers game didn’t get too wet and had a good time. Thanks to Brother Dave Bohler for setting it up for us. If you missed the game this year look for it next year. There was an installation of Officers ceremony conducted on Thursday July 7 at 7 p.m. Thanks to all that helped set it up. Hopefully next year more members and families can attend.

We need brother knights to help with the fair activities. Watch the bulletin for where they need help. Also remember that the fall festival is fast approaching on Sept 27th. Roasting turkeys and helping our parish is a noble act for we Knights. In the fall we will also celebrate our Memorial mass so keep that in mind.

Congratulate these hard-working men next time you see them.

Council 9360 should welcome Duke Damron our new field agent for KC benefits. Our council should also welcome Aaron Thompson our new Music Director for the parish. He is a faith filled man that will be an asset to us all.

Our next meeting will be August 6th in Marian Hall. Join us for rosary at 7 with the meeting to follow at 7:30PM. Brother Bryan Harbrecht’s name was drawn for the Pot-O-Gold but he wasn’t present. Better luck next time Brother Harbrecht.

As I close I look forward to working with all of you at one time or another. I would like to know you and your interests as we move forward. Please join us in making a difference in our community and parish.
