Prior to commencing work with Integra Technical Services in October 2015 as Chief Operating Officer, Leo was Global Head of Energy Claims and UK Energy Claims Practice Leader at Zurich Insurance Company. There he was the financial and technical authority on Energy Claims above the Business Unit (country) level. He line managed the UK Energy Claims team and was responsible for the engagement with Risk Managers, Brokers and Underwriters on claims matters, tender pitches and pre-loss scenario workshops. Leo also successfully led the market and settled a number of the complex onshore and offshore energy claims that Zurich led or co-led in that period.
Before joining Zurich Insurance Company Leo was Energy Claims Team Manager at Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT). Line managing the team of claims brokers and again responsible for interaction with Risk Managers, Insurer’s Claims Adjusters and Placing Brokers. Leo personally handled and settled a number of the complex offshore energy claims during his time at JLT.
Prior to working for JLT, Leo was a Claims Consultant at Indecs LLP. His role was to prepare and present Insured’s claims to the Loss Adjusters representing Insurers.
He has handled claims in all continents and worked in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.
