With the goal of increasing the number of first-generation, low-income, under-represented students and families completing the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), I agree to:

□  A goal to have 50% of seniors start the FAFSA.

□  Provide a welcoming and celebratory environment for students.

□  Identify a location adequate in size and with adequate number of computers to accommodate the expected audience.

□  Use trainings and use CGFAF$A web-based resources to help students complete a FAFSA.

□  Include counselors, administrators, and student government in local planning, and volunteer recruitment.

□  Identify and recruit community members to serve as volunteers.

□  Identify the event as part of the Arizona College Goal FAF$A Initiative.

□  Marketing of the event to first-generation families, students, and the community.

□  Assist with the collection of evaluation data (sign-in sheets and exit surveys), which are completed by students, parents, volunteers and other attendees of the Arizona CGFAF$A workshops. And to forward all evaluation data to the Commission immediately following the event(s).

□  Attend Site Coordinator meetings (in-person or by teleconference) when necessary.

Committed partnership efforts will make this event a success and have a positive impact in the lives of Arizona students and families. Additional resources can be found at https://collegegoal.az.gov/coordinator-resources.

FAFSA Finish Line

Are you interested in receiving information on the progress of your seniors in the FAFSA process? Four pilot program high schools saw an increase in their FAFSA completion rates over the prior year of 7 to 13 percentage points through the use of student level data. This data allows staff to assist students through targeted interventions. If interested check the box below.

I want to participate in FAFSA Finish Line.
