Opening Gala – Film + Party

What time will the doors open?
The doors will open at 18:30.
Audience should be seated by 19:30.
What will be happening at the event in addition to the film screening?
Upon arrival, you will be offered a glass of complimentary drink and directed to your seat.
After the Opening Gala Film there is a Launch Party held at 29Glasgow.
When will the film end?
Handsome Devil is approx. 1 hour and 35 minuteslong and will finish at approx. 21:10.
When will I be required to vacate the venue?
Once the film is finished, you will be asked to make your way to 29 Glasgow for the after-party.
Where can I collect my tickets from?

We recommend coming early if you are collecting pre-paid tickets on the night, as it can be very busy. Alternatively, you can collect your tickets at any time after you have purchased them, from the GFT box office – which helps to avoid the busy periods.
Will you be selling tickets at the door?
If our event does not sell out, then tickets will be available to buy on the door. However, we have held similar events to this one before and they have nearly all sold out. We advise you to book your tickets as soon as possible.
Ticket sales at the GFT Box Office end at 16:30 on the day of the event.
Where is the event taking place?
The film will be screening at the Glasgow Film Theatre and the after-party will be taking place at 29 Glasgow.

Will there be alcohol for sale at the event?
Yes, there will be a licenced bar at GFT with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You will also be offered a free drink upon arrival.
Are there any age restrictions for this event?
Handsome Devilis a certificate N/C 15+, so nobody under 15 will be admitted. If you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will be asked to prove that you are aged 18 or over before receiving any drink tokens or buying alcohol.
Due to alcohol being served at the after party, no one under the age of 18 will be admitted.
Will there be food at the event?
There will be snacks available to purchase at the bar in GFT.
Can I reserve a seat?
All seats in Cinema 1 are reserved by seat number. All other seats in Cinema 2+3 are unreserved, unless otherwise stated.
Are latecomers admitted?
Late entry to the cinema is at the discretion of the EventCoordinator. The Event Coordinator reserves the right of admission and their decision is final.
What is your refund policy?
Refunds will only be made in the case of cancellation of the event.
