TPM RECIPIENTS
TPMSwitchboard FrontEnd for Access 2007

This notice pertains to the MicrosoftAccess version of the TPM, and only in regard to Microsoft Access 2007. Please note that there are no changes to the data structures in the TPM or to the data itself as a result of what is covered by this notice.

To all users: The TPM distributed via CD ROM and via the TRAProduct Distribution System (PDS), both of which are means to obtain the MicrosoftAccess version of TPM data, now includes an additional file calledTPMAPP07.ACCDB, a front-end user interface (“switchboard”) for use with Microsoft Access 2007.

To users of the Microsoft Access version of the TPM: If you have installed Microsoft Access 2007 (alone or as part of Microsoft Office 2007), you will now have the option of using an Access 2007 version of the front end. Since Access 2007 can read and write Access 2000, 2002 (XP), and 2003 files without conversion, you can also continue to use the front-end file you are using now.

This front end:Can be used with this release of Microsoft Access:

TPMAPP00.MDBAccess 2000, 2002, 2003, or 2007

TPMAPP02.MDBAccess 2002, 2003, or 2007

TPMAPP03.MDBAccess 2002, 2003, or 2007

TPMAPP07.ACCDBAccess 2007

To users of Microsoft Access 2007: You will find that because of new security features in Access 2007, the buttons on the front-end user interfaces (all versions) are disabled by default. To enable the buttons for a single session, you can click on Options in the message at the top of the window, below the ribbon bar, and choose Enable this content.

To enable the buttons permanently, you must make C:\ACCESS\TPM (or any other folder where you keep the front-end database) a “trusted location.” Here’s how:

a.Click the Microsoft Office button (upper left corner).

b.Choose Access Options (next to Exit Access).

c.Choose TrustCenter on the left. Click the Trust Center Settings button.

d.Choose Trusted Locations. Click the Add new location button.

e.Enter C:\ACCESS\TPM or any other folder you want to be “trusted.”

f.Click OK, thenOKagain in the Trust Center window, andOK in the Access Options window.
