GENERAL PRACTITIONER REQUIRED

Brig Royd Surgery, Ripponden, West Yorkshire is looking for a GP to join our friendly and caring team in Spring 2018 to replaceDr Carl Littlewood who is retiring,. The practice is based in the beautiful Ryburn Valley, just 10 minutes from the M62 and equidistant between Leeds and Manchester.

Brig Royd is a high achieving GMS and well-regarded Registrar training practice which prides itself on delivering high quality patient care. Patient feedback is excellent (see NHS Choices).

Our CQC rating for response to patient need is Outstanding (overall rating is Good), with the provision of excellent access to appointments without telephone triage.

We encourage continuity of care with the same doctor for the benefit of both patient and doctor. We use SystmOne and care for over 10400 patients.

The GP role will be in the region of 6 sessions and we are looking to appoint on a Partner basis (or Salaried with a view to partnership within 12 months).An essential skill we are looking for is a knowledge of mens’ health.

We have excellent feedback from doctors who have trained with us. Three of our GPs spent time here as Registrars. We have close ties with the Pennine VTS - one of our Partners is a Programme Director of the Pennine scheme. We would welcome applications from GP Trainers.

We prioritise meeting daily for business and social benefit, we share the workload equitably and support each other as a team.

Our current team comprises 10 GPs, 3 PNs, 2 HCAs and an efficient and caring administrative team.

The practice is a member of Calderdale CCG and Pennine GP Alliance.
