Mr. Pierce/Ms. King/Ms. Thompson/ Mr. Joyce and Mr. Johnson: Works with students individually during class each day to help them prepare for the upcoming 9 weeks playing test, All-District Auditions and college scholarship auditions.Mr. Pierce:

1. Concert Gb Scale –
Intervals, chromatics, scale, rhythm, technique, tuning and chorale..
- After Warm-Up: Music Rehearsal
1. Establish good intonation and musical relationship between instrumentalists in the group.
2. Model proper air support and breathing techniques to ensure uniformity of entrances and group mastery.
3. Explore dynamic contrast by how loud and
soft students can play and have them push from extreme to extreme.
4. The group will sight-read new music. Attention to key, dynamics, tempo, etc.. through modeling and repetition.
5. Individuals and small groups will be pulled from rehearsal to receive extra attention to address any problem areas.
6. End rehearsal with an uninterrupted performance. Verbal evaluation will be given to the group following this performance. /
