State the purpose of the session, describe the session’s focus and overarching message, and provide an overview of how the session topic is timely and important tothe biogeochemistry of wetlands field. Describe key takeaways for those who attend, identify who would be most interested in the content and who would most benefit by attending (e.g. engineers, modelers, hydrologists, researchers, agency managers, etc.)

  • offer a diverse mix of speakers and organizations represented, each of whom brings a different perspective to the session
  • speakers are limited to giving one talk; confirm they were not asked to speak by another organizer
