Instructions: In your groups each of you individually will read through the four amendments and scenarios that are on the paper titled “Constitutional or Unconstitutional Readings”. After each amendment and scenario you need to have a discussion in your group about the constitutionality of the scenario.In your groups of 4 you will have four different roles. They are described below…

Questioner: This person will come up with three questions about the text in the amendment or the scenario.

Fact Finder: This person will find examples to support the group’s opinion of whether the hypothetical scenario is constitutional or unconstitutional.

Presenter: This person will present the group’s opinion and evidence to the rest of the class.

Recorder:This person will record all of your group’s evidence and opinions on this paper

ALL STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISCUSSION BY SHARING AN OPINION AND EVIDENCE.

There are four different amendment/scenarios. After each scenario you need to rotate your roles within the groups. After each scenario, we will stop as a class, present and discuss your group’s findings.
