Since 1992 our technical team has successfully developed inks for several inkjet printer and print head manufacturers, which are commercially available worldwide. The reason for our technical success comes from an accumulation of not only a vast knowledge of ink formulation technology but also a thorough understanding of the interaction between the inks and other components such as printer, print head, software, firmware, media and ink delivery system. Thus we pride ourselves in being a company that offers a total system solution based on our customer requirements.

Manufacturing

Prism has a state of the art 27,000 square feet manufacturing facility in SunnyvaleCalifornia. This facility offers in line computerized manufacturing for all high volume inks. The incoming packaging and raw material is inspected for highest quality standards. In conjunction with our customers we have developed and implemented many Quality Assurance procedures that our inks undergo prior to shipment.

The replacement ink sets are made with the latest "Self-Disperse Technology"(SDT). It means no more worries about head clogging, which increases the jetting reliability and thus higher productivity. These inks are engineered at component level to work well with most of today's state of the art paper coatings due to the introduction of “Adhesion Enhancement Technology”(AET). This ink set is designed to match OEM’s ink colors. Available colors are Photo Black, Matte Black, Gray, Light Gray, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Light Cyan, and Light Magenta.

Aqueous Dye-based Ink

Epson®, Mutoh®, Mimaki® & Roland®, HP®, and Encad®

The replacement ink sets offers High Light Fast (HLF) properties, while providing exceptional color Gamut. Amongst many applications, these inks are commonly used in short-term outdoor signs and banners, Photographic, Fine Arts, Trade-show graphics and POP graphic displays. This set is available in Black, Gray, Light Gray, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Light Cyan, and Light Magenta.

Aqueous Film Positive ink

Epson®, Mutoh®, Mimaki® & Roland®

This NON-Yellowing ink is available both in Dye or Pigment. It offers one of the highest UV blocking and at the same time offers exceptionally high scratch resistance and dries instantly on most films. This ink is also filtered with nano-filtration process (NFP) to give high jetting reliability.

Aqueous B/W Photography

Epson®, Mutoh®, Mimaki® & Roland®

This pigmented ink set offers perfectly smooth gradient with 5 or 6 different densities of Black. This ink set is designed to work with Matte paper, Canvas and Glossy media. It also offers exceptionally high scratch resistance and dries instantly on most media. This ink is also filtered with nano-filtration process (NFP) to give high jetting reliability.

Textile Ink Sets

Aqueous Direct to Fabric Ink – TEXMAX®

Brother®, Mutoh®, Mimaki®, Roland®, Epson®

This ink can be printed directly on fabrics (Cotton, Silk, Polyesters or Blends). Post printing, these inks require heat to set the inks on to the fabrics. After setting, the textile is water resistant. This ink set also offers long term outdoor durability (6-8 on Blue wool scale). The inks are available in Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Red, Blue. This color scheme enhances the color densities on Fabrics like Cotton. This ink is also filtered with nano-filtration process (NFP) to give high jetting reliability.

Aqueous Dye-Sub Ink– Prismatic-Poly®

Mutoh®, Mimaki®, Roland®

The ink set requires lower transfer energy to ensure complete transfer of dyes to fabrics. The inks are filtered with nano-filtration process (NFP) to ensure highest jetting reliability. The available colors are Black, Gray, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Orange, Fluorescent Colors and Now also available is the higher Light-fast CMYK set.

UV Curable Ink Set

Dimatix®, Ricoh® and XAAR® Print Heads

This new ink set is designed to adhere to most demanding materials. This set is also designed to jet reliably at lower head temperature making it less susceptible to head clogging. It also requires lower energy for curing. The available colors are Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Light Cyan, Light Magenta and White.

Solvent Ink Sets

Two new Technologies, Nano-filtration Process (NFP) and High Frequency Technology (HFT) have been implemented in these ink sets to ensure the nozzles jetting reliability. By using true process color pigments, these sets produce bright, saturated and vivid colors and offer an extremely large color Gamut. These set offer excellent gray scale by utilizing “Color Component Calibration” techniques. These inks are smudge and water-resistant. The estimated outdoor life is 1 to 3 years. We also offer 3 to 5 year outdoor durable set. These sets print directly to most uncoated vinyl and other nonporous media. The inks are available in CMYK and Light CMYK colors.
