Potato peelers, dough cutters – any way that you can help! This year, we will be preparing at Camp Harmony on Friday. It will be sold Saturday & Sunday at the Camp. No quarts will be sold at the church! Please see Deanna Fisher for more info.

Mark your calendars! The next Family Night will be on October 8th at the grove. We will be singing around the campfire while

enjoying hot dogs, s’mores, and hot chocolate. There will also be a hayride! If we feel it is too chilly to be outside we will have the fire inside the building so please don’t let the weather keep you away! Please join us for a fun evening of fellowship and bring a friend. Everyone is welcome!

SOUP/VISITATION DAY: OCTOBER 17, 2017

The Women's Fellowship will hold their annual Soup/Visitation Day on Tuesday, October 17. We will be making beef noodle soup and delivering a quart to the shut-ins and others in our community. We will need people to go visit and deliver the soup. We will also need names of those that are shut-in or who would appreciate a visit and a quart of soup - there will be a sign-up sheet posted on the bulletin board for you to add names. Following the visitation at approximately noon we will meet back at the church and enjoy a lunch of beef noodle soup and share with other about our visits. Please come and enjoy a day of fellowship and fun. We hope to see you there. ~Connie Martin, Women's Fellowship President

Bible Quizzing teams are forming. If you are not involved in a Sunday School class but would like to participate, please contact Megan Hostetler at 442-3171. This fall teams will be studying the book of Luke. Dates of the competition are October 22 and 29 at 7 p.m. and November 5th following a noon meal. Please come and join in the fun!

HARVEST HOME PROJECT: Throughout the month of October we will be collecting items for this project. There is a list of what’s needed with more details on the bulletin boards. There will also be more info and the list in the October Water Cup. Please consider participating with this wonderful cause.

BRETHREN HOME MEMBERSHIP: The membership dues for the Brethren Home are now due. The membership dues collected are used by the Auxiliary to purchase items needed to make life more comfortable for residents of the home. Checks are payable to: Maple Spring COB Women’s Fellowship. The deadline is Sunday, November 5th. Please see Emma Thomas if you have questions.

St Francis Sharing & Caring Food Pantry:

We have been asked to donate CEREAL for the entire year of 2017. There is a box in the annex for the donations. The new Thrift Shop is now open and their hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 3 pm. and Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Please fill out the attendance books located in each pew so we can keep an accurate record. If you are visiting with us this morning, WELCOME!

LOST & FOUND: please check the church office for any items you are missing. Anything left will be discarded or donated at the end of the month.
