disburses about $1.7 million in education grantstomore than 1,200 women who haveovercome enormous personal obstacles.Recipients may use the cash grants to offset anycostsassociated with their efforts to
attain additional educationortraining.
Awardrecipientsgoonto enjoy improved employment prospects,greaterearning potential, higher self-esteem,and serve as positive role models for theirchildren.
