105.7 The Hawk Announces Annual Boss of the Sauce Event

Ocean, NJ – Coors Light and 105.7 The Hawk presents The Hawk’s Annual “Boss of the Sauce,” sponsored by Banfi Wines, Grey Goose, Seven Tiki and Rock Coconut Rum on Monday, April 11th at Jenkinson’s in Point Pleasant.

Gregg ‘Race” Pirillo, Program Director for The Hawk states; “If there was ever a non musical event that encompasses what New Jersey and the Jersey shore is all about, its Boss of the Sauce. Every year this event gets bigger and better…and this year will be no different.”

Area restaurants will put their best sauce up against each other to battle for the title “Boss of the Sauce”. The sauces will be voted on by a panel of judges as well as a People’s Choice Award voted on by the listeners at the event. Listeners will sample each restaurant’s sauce and choose their favorite.

Pirillo continues, “Last year we upgraded to a new venue, Jenkinson’s in Point Pleasant, and it was an overwhelming success. This year, we’re going back to Jenks and we plan on making it even more massive. There will be no shortage of terrific food, as always, but you can also count on Live Music, great wine/beer/spirits and ALL of the Hawk’s air personalities. For those of us that have intense feelings about good food, it doesn’t get any better than Boss of the Sauce.”
