Facility: The facilities consist of an 11 – lane, 25-yard indoor pool ranging in depth from 5 to 12 feet. Ten lanes will be used for competition. The competition course has 8-foot wide lanes marked by continuous lane lines and Paragon starting blocks. The competition course has been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4). The copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming

For the protection of the athletes, the use of audio or video recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, restrooms or locker rooms.

Rules: The meet will be conducted as a Timed Final Meet in accordance with the current USA Swimming codes, except where rules therein are optional and exceptions are herein stated. FINA starting procedures will be used. The FINA system, approved by USA Swimming, uses a series of whistles followed by a one-whistle announcement for the swimmers. The No Recall Start Rule will be enforced during this meet. The use of “Fly-Over starts” will be at the discretion of the Meet Referee.

Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member–coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.

The use of audio or visual recording devices, including cell phones, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms. Such devices being used in thee restricted areas will be subject to confiscation.

Safety:Warm-ups; Entry will be from the scoreboard end of the pool. All entries during warm-ups are feet first only, no diving from the blocks. Coaches must maintain contact with their swimmers during warm-ups.

Swimmers with a Disability: Entries for swimmers with a disability should be handled in the following manner:

(1) enter the swimmer in the Hy-Tek database (or on the regular entry form);

(2) list in the email accompanying the Hy-Tek entry file (or on a separate sheet of paper) the name of the swimmer, the stroke(s)/distance(s) s/he wishes to swim, the entry times, the day/session s/he wishes to swim the events(s), and the manner in which s/he prefers to be seeded (with a longer distance or with a different age group); and

(3) provide any information about special accommodations needed by the swimmer.

The final determination of seeding will be made by the Meet Referee after consultation with the swimmer and his/her coach.

Format: This meet will be only Lakeside Swim Team members. The competition course will consist of eleven (11) 25 yard lanes. Heats will be swum slowest to fastest.

Eligibility: This meet is only open to Lakeside Swim Team Members. Swimmers must be USA registered athletes. Age of Swimmer on September 27, 2015 will determine their age group for this meet. The 2015Official USS rules will govern all competition. Coaches must show their USA Swimming credentials in order to receive their coaches’ packet. All coaches are required to have their USA Coaches Credentials exhibited on their person at all times with no exceptions to the USA requirement that requires certified coaches on deck.

Seeding: Allevents will be pre-seeded.

Entries: ALL TIMES MUST BE IN SHORT COURSE YARDS. Entries must be submitted electronically (Hy-Tek or SDIF). Handwritten, telephone or fax entries will not be accepted. If the USSID for any swimmer is omitted, that swimmer’s entries will not be accepted. All swimmers’ registration will be checked against Kentucky Swimming database of registered athletes. Entries are due by September 23, 2015

Entry Limits:Swimmers may enter a maximum of four individual events per day.

Entry Fees: No Charge

Surcharges:$2.50 per swimmer Kentucky Swimming Surcharge and $3.50 per swimmer Facility Fee.

EVENTS:

This meet will be run in one session, with warm-up at 2:00 PM, Meet start at 3:00 PM.
