Scheduling NWIU cars, Conference and Meeting Rooms using the Sharepoint Calendars at
The IU Vehicles, Conference Rooms, and Meeting Rooms are reserved usingSharepoint Calendars. The IU5 Calendars site, contains the group calendars previously managed through Outlook Public Folder Calendars.
The link on the Internet home page is the public view and only shows Conference Room Calendar appointments that are marked to be seen by the public.
You will have to log into the IU5 domain via the Lobby to access the complete menu of calendars.
Select the calendar from the left hand menu. To reiterate: you will not see the full list of calendar views if you are not logged into the network. If you have accessed the calendars from outside the building, click on “Inside IU5” in the title bar if you are not logged into the Calendar site. You will then see all of the available calendars and views.
When you choose a calendar to view, you may choose the day, week or month view from the menu on the right side of the form. Please take a moment to study the form and located the left side menu of available calendars and views and the“Day Week and Month” view selector at the upper right.
To schedule an appointment:
Click on the upper bar of the desired appointment date as in the Month View as shown above. The day view will open that will enable you to create an appointment for any time by clicking on the time shown on the left hand of the schedule.
Fill in the detail information requested on the entry form and click the “OK” button to SAVE.
Each entry form has been programmed to require specific information. You will receive error messages if you have not completed the form correctly. Make your corrections and press “OK” again to SAVE.

To view appointment details or to modify an existing reservation, click on the appointment in the calendar view:
If you are authorized to make a change to the calendar details, you will be shown the edit and delete item menu options at the top of the form.
