International Rosary:
On Monday, May 19th,the International Rosary will be prayed in five languages in our chapel at 7:30 a.m. All are invited to attend.
Spring Sports Awards Assembly/Reception
Our Spring Sports Awards Assembly/Reception will take place at RCHS on May 28th. Admission is $10 per person. The Awards Assembly will begin in the gym at 6:30 PM and will honor Freshman, JV, and Varsity teams from our Spring Sports. Letters, MVP and All Catholic honors will be presented. The Awards Assembly will be followed by a reception in the cafeteria. Tickets need to be purchased in the Financial Affairs Office no later than the end of the school day on Thursday, May 22nd. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.
Senior Prom:
Senior Prom tickets are being sold in the Financial Affairs Office. Guidelines for the purchase of Senior Prom tickets, together with information and details for the Senior Prom, were presented and discussed at the Senior Parent/Student Meeting on May 1st. Senior Prom tickets need to be purchased by Monday, May 19th.
Attention All Senior Parents/Guardians and Students- Baccalaureate/Graduation announcements and thank you notes were distributed during homeroom yesterday. Receiving these announcements does not guarantee graduation. These announcements are not tickets. Any senior who does not receive their announcements is asked to go to the Office of Student Affairs. Parents, guardians, and students are reminded to review all the paperwork and material regarding Baccalaureate/Graduation that was distributed and discussed at Senior Parent/Student Night at the beginning of May.
ATTENTION JUNIORS
A reminder to all Juniors that the Junior Prom will take place tonight at the Southampton Room. Please remember to adhere to all guidelines and policies found in the Junior Prom Information Sheet as well as those discussed and presented at the Junior Parent/Student Night.
We will follow a Bell 1 schedule today. At the end of 5th period, classes will end for the day for Juniors. Juniors attending the prom are required to attend an assembly following 5th period. Those not attending the prom are dismissed after 5th period. Students who are absent from school today or who do not attend the required meeting after the end of 5th period will not be permitted to attend the prom.
Technology Club:
There will be a Technology Club meeting this upcoming Monday, May 19.
Business STARs:
If you were recently chosen as a STAR of the Month in a Business class, please report to the Cafeteria immediately following homeroom today for a photograph.
Cahill Club:
The Founder's Day Award Dinner will take place on May 21, 2014 at Flourtown Country Club- 150 McCloskey Road, Flourtown, PA 6:00 pm. The Cahill Club is extending an invitation to faculty and students to attend this annual dinner at the discounted rate of $25. We are hoping that you will come out to honor Fr. Flanagan, Mr. Wagner '91, as well as David T. Schwab '14 and our other honorees. Please send all responses to Ms. Terri Evans at the McSherry Annex.

Junior AOH:
There will be a Junior AOH meeting next Tuesday after school in Room 39. The Patrick Kerr Scholarships will be announced at this meeting. All members should plan on attending.
Fine Arts Department:
Congratulations and thanks to the members and students of the Fine Arts Department on the wonderful Fine Arts Festival and Spring Concert last evening. It was a wonderful experience for all those who were present.
Track and Field:
At the District 12 meet, Senior Matt Brown finished 2nd in the mile and Junior Colyn Todd placed 2nd in the 300 hurdles. Both qualified for the PIAA State Championships next weekend. Also scoring points at districts were Freshman Tyler Zwicharowski in the mile and the 4x800m relay of Seniors Alec Barton and Nelson Costa, and Freshmen Sean Brown and Asad Grant. There is no practice today. Practice resumes Monday and all athletes should hand in their uniforms at the mandatory end-of-year meeting.
Volleyball:
Congratulations to the RCHS Volleyball team on winning the PCL Quarterfinals yesterday against Lansdale Catholic 3-0. Semi-Finals are tomorrow at 2:30PM at #2 seed Archbishop Wood. Everyone is encouraged to come out and support the Volleyball team challenge Wood to get into the PCL final. Keep it up Cahillites!
Baseball:
Congratulations to the Baseball team who defeated O’Hara 6-5 in extra innings yesterday. They advance to the championship series next Wednesday. Game details to follow.
Free Physicals:
The School District of Philadelphia is offering free physicals at Temple University on May 31st at the Liacouras Center. Walk-ins are between 9 and 10AM. This is a great opportunity for those students who are considering being involved in athletics next year. All those involved in athletics must have a physical and have the PIAA form (available on our school website) completed and returned to the Main Office by August 6th.

JUNIORS!!!!!! Time is running out to order your "Class of 2015" golf shirts. The deadline is Monday, June 2, 2014. This will be your ONLY opportunity to order them. Order forms were in your Junior information folder. Forms are also available in the School Store.
