Re: Ski Trip to USA: Friday 30 March 2019 – Saturday 7 April 2019
Following the success of our past skiing trips to Italy, France, Austria and Canada, we are pleased to inform you that we are organising a trip to Boston, USA, which will take place from Friday 30 March – Saturday 7 April 2019, during the first week of the Easter holidays.
This is a beautiful destination with the opportunity to ski several different mountain ranges and resorts. The provisional cost of the trip is £1,900.00. This price is based upon a minimum of 30 students attending the trip and is offered to all students across all year groups. The cost includes:
· Return flights to Boston
· Transfers in Boston
· 7 nights half board at the equity club (located on the slopes)
· 6 days local ski pass
· 6 days ski equipment hire (boots, skis, poles and helmets)
· Ski lessons: 24 hours of ski tuition (4 hours per day)
· In resort representation and 24 hour emergency service
· In-house evening entertainments such as quiz night, DVD evening, games night, etc.
· Shopping stop in Boston
Additional items not included within the cost:
· Evening excursions e.g. swimming, ice-skating/sledging
· Travel insurance (this should include medical, redundancy cover, travel delay, personal liability, 24 hour emergency service, ski breakage and snow guarantee, which I would suggest)
If your child wishes to attend this exciting trip, a non-refundable deposit of £200.00 will secure a provisional place, subject to behaviour checks and allocated on a first come, first served basis. All payments should be made via WisePay. Please note, should your child wish to withdraw from the trip for reasons not covered by travel insurance, the money cannot be refunded.

It is important that these payment dates are strictly adhered to, as any late payments will incur extra costs. Should there be any difficulties regarding payments, please contact the Finance Office.
Please note that the school reserves the right to remove a student from the trip if their behaviour in school gives cause for concern.
