Key take-aways:
· Beneficiaries overwhelmingly prefer House NDAA provisions entailing:
· Lower immediate Rx copays
· Cap on future Rx copay hikes
· One-year mandatory TFL mail-order use for maintenance med refills
· SecDef authority to exempt from mail-order requirement
· At least 96% support House plan for:
· all ages
· all ranges of prescription use
· all grades E-7 and above
· Medicare-eligibles support the House plan at equal rate: 97%
· Even among those “very dissatisfied” with mail-order, 2/3 still prefer the House plan
· Of the 179 people (2.6%) who prefer the Senate plan, 107 (60%) have never tried mail-order
· Of the people who have tried the mail-order program, 93% of respondents are either “very satisfied” or “satisfied”
