1. For this assignment, the faculty member will ask the students to define minority group. Referencing the textbook, the student will select 3 racial/ethnic groups. Then the student will compare and contrast the 3 groups and include the following in your discussion:
a. Who assimilated faster (if at all) than others
b. Include in your comparison one (1) theoretical viewpoint (functionalist, interactionist, conflict).
c. Discuss one (1) factor that you think contributed to their assimilation success or failure and why?
d. In your opinion, which group has contributed the most to our society?
