Wireless Home Networking Vendor expands European team by appointing VP Telecoms Sales and VP Broadcast Sales

Airties strengthens its Sales Organisation: Philippe Michaud appointed to target growth in the Telecoms Sales arena and Karl Tempest-Mitchell appointed to Head sales in the broadcast sector

ISTANBUL – 26 MAY 2011 – AirTies, the innovative wireless home networking vendor, today announced the appointment of two vice presidents within Europe, Middle East and Africa. Philippe Michaud has joined the company as Vice President Telecoms Sales for the EMEA region, where he will be responsible for both the commercial and strategic development of AirTies product suite across EMEA. Karl Tempest-Mitchell has been appointed as Vice President Sales EMEA for AirTies’ Broadcast business unit.

Philippe Michaud has more than ten years experience of successful telecom equipment sales to telecom operators and service providers, and specialises in sales, marketing and development of partners and key operator accounts. Before joining AirTies, Philippe served as Sales Director EMEA for Pace, where he was responsible for setting up and leading the European sales structure to address telecom operators in Europe, UAE and Latin America.

Karl Tempest-Mitchell has more than 15 years experience in the Set-top-box industry and has a comprehensive understanding of marketing and selling innovative solutions. Prior to joining AirTies, Karl served as Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing for ADB, where he was responsible for business development, sales and marketing and spearheaded ADB’s business development in EMEA.
