Opening Remarks (Bruce)

Thank you all for the events that just happen because of your organization, dedication and hard work all year. It is much appreciated. Most pending leaders have been cleared up.

New leaders and leaders changing sections need to get started on the WB1 in their new section. The code of conduct needs to be done annually on MY SCOUTS. Take care of as many items as possible during the summer.

Quality Program Standards are coming in and in the future they will be noted on the Scout Canada website for parents to review before choosing a group to register their child with. DAC’s will be recruited to stay on for 2013-2014. Rick and Christine Toulouse are coming on as DAC’s for Beavers.

Succession planning – Area Group Commissioner.
