Please keep in your thoughts and prayers for healing, Dan Hartong

recovering from surgery and Henry Heintz, home with hospice care.

The Chancel flowers are given in memory of loved ones from Jerry,

Shirley and Bryan Spence.

Childcare is provided for children, 4 years old and younger in the

nursery on Sundays during worship service.

A HUGE thanks to all who helped with the book sale by donating

books, buying books, working in sales or helping to move the books

around. Eve Circle and the St. Paul’s family raised over $900. which will

be used for projects around the church and community. Special thanks to

Obie and Kelly for all their help with set up, moving books and cleanup;

we couldn’t have done it without you!

Part of what makes St. Paul’s so special is to be welcomed at the door

each Sunday. Please take a look on the bulletin board for the Greeters

schedule and choose a day to be one of the special people everyone is

The Wednesday Evening Bible Study meets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday

evenings. If you have any questions, call Carol Geal at 289-2765.

Christ’s Kids midweek program for children in 1st through 6th grades is on

Wednesday night from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Meal, lesson, activities

and children’s choirs are included! All children are welcome! Leaders

wanted! Meal preparers wanted! See Alisha Cooley for details.

· November 3rd – Pet Halloween Party – Share the joy of your pet

and others by dressing them in a Halloween costume (Tip! They

will be on sale after Halloween)

· November 17th – Basketball Clinic – We are looking to expand our

gym volunteer staff for this event. Please let Taiya Himebauch or

Willie Lass know if you could assist youth with basic basketball

skills. This is a UMYF leadership opportunity as well.

· December 8th – Holiday Party – If you are willing to make a

holiday treat for the kids, that would be much appreciated! We

usually have 15 youth at the most.

· Coming in 2017, we also plan to offer another Hobby Night. The

first one was a huge success, I welcome any suggestions or new

ideas from the last time.

Linda Voss, longtime St. Paul’s member, is looking for someone to pick

her up occasionally for the 11:00 a.m. Sunday worship service. She lives

in River Park Plaza, 20 N. Roessler St., Monroe, and does not drive. If

interested in providing this service, contact Judie Wiseman, 241-3466.

UMYF Update: Cedar Point was “awesome” as a beautiful day and

crowded park made for a bit of a wait, but the fun was the same: Great!

Sunday UMYF will decorate the “Haunted Hallway” for Trunk or Treat

next Wednesday. Join Us!

Worship Committee is moving its meeting day to the first Tuesday of the

month starting in December. The November meeting will still be on

Tuesday, November 8th at 7 p.m. in the library. This will allow for better

participation by not being at the same time other meetings. Meeting dates

for the remainder of the year: Nov. 1, Dec. 6, Jan. 3, Feb.7, Mar 7, Apr

4, May 2. Come and share your passion for Worship!

We’ll begin with a potluck dinner – bring a dish (or two) to share and

your own table service. Games and “trick or treating” from the

‘trunks’ in St. Paul’s parking lot will follow. Decorate your trunk and

hand out your candy! The Christ’s Kids and children’s choirs will not
