Note from Property Manager Nicki Leger. Greetings to all The Plantation Owners. We will be serving Bar-b-que hamburgers. We hope to see everyone in April. Should anyone have any complaints or compliments about the vendor(s) please let me know, not the vendor. I can be reached via email at or (337) 849-0182
There was only one nomination for the open Board of Directors position which was Nick Hundley. All nominations were due via USPS by February 15, 2015. He went un-opposed for the three year term. Due to being elected by default, election ballots were not needed. The newly elected member to the Board of Director’s will be serving a 3 year term beginning April 1, 2015. We would also like to thank Jeff Fortenberry for serving on the Board of Director’s for the last 3 years. He was a great asset to the Board.
Nick Hundley - We look forward to working with you in the upcoming three years!
Reminder about Late Fees: As of February 10, 2013 and every month thereafter, any account that is not current will be charged a $20.00 late fee. In effect for April, accounts with balances over $126.00 will be subject to an 18% annual interest charge. If you have any questions concerning the late fees please contact Nicki.
Improvements: We are getting quotes for the pool area. We would like to get the fence primed and painted, also change the locks and the door closures.
Grounds: We are experiencing sink holes around the property. We are currently investigating and will keep everyone informed. Also, recently we had some trees removed from the property due to damaging the road and the entrance, 2 trees by the 209 section and the large palm by the pool area.
Rent and For Sale Signs: Nicki spoke with Jim Parker the Zoning Manager for the Lafayette Consolidated Government. For Rent and For Sale signs can only be on owner’s property and the sign cannot exceed 12 square feet. The signs cannot be placed on common areas.
