EIMA International Bologna:

an appointment for November 2018

The organization of the Bologna exposition of agricultural machinery and equipment scheduled for next November 7 to 11 has already been put in gear. Some two thousand manufacturing industries and business people from around the world are expected to take part. The format calls for 14 merchandise sector and four special salons plus a new salon coming up dedicated to irrigation systems and the management of water sources.

The EIMA International 2018 43rd edition in Bologna is set for next November 7 to 11 as one of the world’s most premier expositions in the sector of agricultural machinery and equipment. The biennial event is organized by FederUnacoma, the Italian Federation of Manufacturers of Agricultural and Groundskeeping Machinery and Allied Components. The upcoming EIMA International will bring together some two thousand exhibiting manufacturers to take over a 300,000 square meters of exposition area and draw visitors, which numbered 320,000 for the 2016 edition, including farmers, business people, contractors and mechanization technicians plus representatives of the political sphere and academics.

The trade fair format provided 14 merchandise sectors and five specialized salons: EIMA Components covering more than 800 exhibiting industries; EIMA Green on gardening and groundskeeping for professionals in the sector and hobbyists and gardening enthusiasts; EIMA Energy focused on bio-energy supply chains, a sector of great interest for ecology and the reduction of greenhouse gases; EIMA M.i.A. dedicated to multi-functional farming activies with special reference for land maintenance and protection; EIMA Idrotech, a salon introduced for the first time to the 2018 edition on irrigation technologies and systems and the management of water resources.

EIMA International - presented this afternoon in New Delhi in the setting of EIMA Agrimach, the Indian agricultural machinery exposition coming to a close next Saturday, the 9th - attracted visitors from 180 countries around the world to the 2016 edition and 60 official delegations of business people through the organization of FederUnacoma and ICE, the Italian Trade Agency for the same trade fair, all provided with the thick schedule of meetings with the exhibiting industries lined up according to the interests of the delegates in various types of product.

Speaking at the New Delhi exhibit, FederUnacoma surl Managing Director Massimo Goldoni commented on the great promotional and commercial weight of EIMA International and the importance of the event for communications through more than one hundred conferences and symposiums on new technologies, research, the agricultural economies and policies for the development of agro-industrial supply changes in the major agricultural regions around the world.
