2018 Continuing Education Scholarship Application

Scholarship is available to full-time students enrolled in a post-secondary education curriculum. Applicants must have completed a minimum of one-year of course study and must be a past or present member of the Wisconsin Junior Angus Association. Past first place recipients of this scholarship are not eligible to apply. Past second place recipients are eligible. Scholarship application includes this completed form and a personal interview.

Identify an issue of concern to the beef industry, and share your recommendation(s) to solve that challenge which results in a positive outcome for beef producers.
Share how your experiences with livestock, the WJAA and NJAA have helped you with your post-secondary studies, relationships, advancements, etc.
Section 3 – Leadership & Future Plans – 35 pts.
Describe your leadership potential, career goals and ambitions for the future. Include how you will promote, advocate and support the Angus breed and beef cattle industry in your plans.
