Arrival – All Day - Welcome Table and registration - Best Western Watertown/Ft. Drum.
Hospitality Room - a meeting room past the main ballroom at Best Western
1100 – 1500- Luncheon at the Sackett’s Harbor Brewery RestaurantandGuided Tour of the War 0f 1812 Sackett’s HarborBattlefield. (Personal Transport Required)
1800 – 1930 - Arrival Dinner- An Italian Buffet in the Best Western Ballroom catered by the Savory Restaurant – This event is at a cost of $20 per person.
2014REUNION – DAY TWO (Friday:8 Aug 2014)
All Day - Welcome Table at the Best Western Hospitality room at Best Western
0800 – 0930 -Breakfast Buffet
1000 – 1530-“A Day with the Polar Bears”at Fort Drum
1000 – Board Henry Coach Tour Buses at the front of the Best Western.
1030- Arrive Ft. Drum – Old Post Area – Electronic Skill Trainer (EST) Facility
1030– 1215-Observe & participate EST Events, Roll-Over Trainer, Med Evac Training, and Infantryman weapons/equipment/vehicle displays.
1230 – 1345 -Lunch with Polar Bear Soldiers – 2nd Brigade Dining Facility
1345 – 1500 – Polar Bear Bn Open House & HQ Tour (Polar Bear Unit Museum).
1500 – 1530– Load Buses & Return to Best WesternWatertown.
1645 – 1745- 31st Infantry Association General Member Meeting – All Members.
Dinner - on your own/unit dinners. Best Western is available for assistance to help any
individuals or groups makereservations at local restaurants in the Watertown area.
2014REUNION – DAY THREE (Saturday:9 August 2014)
All Day - Welcome Table at Best Western. Hospitality Rooms at Best Western
0745 – 0915-Breakfast Buffet
0930 – 1000 - 31st Infantry Memorial Service – First Presbyterian Church
1030 – 1630 - Planned DayTours (Advance reservations required) Time for lunch in Alexandria Bay (Tours Do Not include a paid lunch):
Millionaire Boat Tour(Includes atour of Bolt Castle)– Alexandria Bay.
Tour of Boldt Castle Only - Alexandria Bay.
(All Buses depart BW at 10:30 AM: latest buses return at approximately 4:30PM)
2009 REUNION – DAY THREE (Saturday: 9 August 2014) (Cont.)
Tour buses arrive Alexandria Bay at approx 11:30 AM. People desiring lunch can eat at local restaurants in downtown Alexandria Bay. Tour boat for Millionaire Boat Tour departs Alexandria Bay at 1PM. Shuttle boats to Boldt Castle depart 12:30 PM & 1PM. Tour buses will depart
Alexandria Bay as soon as each tour group returns to their tour and assembles at the designated bus pickup area .
Formal Banquet – The “Commons” at Fort Drum. This year, the banquet attendance by Soldiers and leaders of our active duty 4th Bn 31st who will hold a Battalion Formal Dinner Dance in conjunction with our Association banquet. It should be a grand affair.
1715 – Load Buses and cars for move to Fort Drum – Commons
1730 – Depart Best Western (All buses and cars enter Ft. Drum through the Main Gate).
1800–Cocktails
1900 – Posting of the Colors
1915 - Dinner and speaker followed by the Shanghai Bowl Ceremony
2045 - Dancing, Singing, etc., and actions by the DJ – Les Shockley
Shuttle buses will depart at selected times starting after the Shanghai Bowl Ceremony
Last shuttle bus 12:30 AM.

Hotel Information & Reunion Notes
The newly renovated Best WesternWatertown/Ft. Drum will be the Reunion HQ. It is located in downtown Watertown, NY. Parking is free. The Hotel is located approximately 6 Miles from Fort Drum. Commercial Tour Buses will be available for events at Fort Drum, but civilian cars may also be used. Post vehicle stickers are not required and arrangements will be made for entry at the Ft. DrumMain Gate for registered reunion attendees with civilian picture IDs.
