Uniform:
The school uniform (available from Buckleys, Shandon Street) consists of a jacket with school crest, shirt, pinafore, tie, jumper (with school crest), navy or red tights/knee socks.
Skirts and pinafores are preferred to trousers.
Iron–on labels are also available from Buckleys.
Every item of your child’s school uniform must be clearly labelled with her name.
We urge you to do this to minimise the confusion that results when items get lost or misplaced.
No responsibility will be taken by the school for lost items.
School Tracksuit with school crest and red polo shirt also available from Buckley’s only.
In order to promote a healthy school ethos including a non–competitive environment for your daughter, every child should wear full uniform from September, and consistently throughout the school year.

Labelling:
Please ensure that your child’s pencil case, school sack, lunch box and all items of clothing etc. are clearly labelled.
Also ensure that all your child’s books are covered in clear plastic and neatly labelled with her name & class level, for September.
Pencil case:
Each child needs to bring a soft, zip fastened pencil – case containing an eraser, a pencil sharpener which holds parings and a set of colouring pencils and crayons.
Please Note:
The use of “wheelie” school sacks is discouraged as they are dangerous on the stairs.
Wash Bag:
In order to instil good personal hygiene habits and in line with our School Health and Safety policy, we require all children to bring their own wash bag with their names clearly marked on them. Each wash bag should contain toilet paper, a face cloth with which your child can dry her hands and/or hand wipes. Please teach your child how to use these before September. This wash bag needs to be in your child’s school bag from the first day in school.
