Homework Grading Rubric

Points / Criteria
10 / The Student has completed ALL of the problems, shown ALL of their work, and MOST of the problems are correct
8 / The Student has completed MOST of the problems, shown MOST of their work, and MOSTof the completed problems are correct
OR
The Student has completed ALL of the problems, shown ALL of their work, but MANY of the problems are incorrect
5 / The Student has completed about HALF of the problems, shown ALL of their work, and at least half of the completed problems are correct
OR
The Student has completed ALL problems with no work, and at least half of the completed problems are correct
3 / The Student has completed less than half of the problems with showing their work, and at least some of the completed problems are correct
OR
The Student has completed most problems with no work, and at least half of the completed problems are correct
1 / The Student has completed only a few of the problems with or without work shown. Problems may or may not be correct.
0 / The Student fails to hand in any work.

Notes:

  • Subtract 2 points (-2) if homework is not organized, detailed, and easy to read.
  • To show work for mental math problems, the Student must write the problem on his/her paper. Just listing an answer is not acceptable.
