These are the “Unofficial” results. Still to check are the IRC Tracking units. However, we have several changes in the results, prior to checking each racer’s IRC tracks:

·  #1001 – Was given permission to be extracted by his crew from the course. He was towed from mile 35.81 to the finish which was mile 38.10 for a total of 2.29 miles, parallel to the course but NOT on the course itself. This is below the 1% rule, which in this case it would have been a total of 3.429 miles that he could have been towed. However, ISA rule book (Page 20 – Sec 4.13) says that ”No vehicle may be pushed, pulled, or towed by another vehicle within the last two hundred yards of the finish line.”

In this case #1001 was towed to his pits located within the 200 yards of the finish line, and although he drove the vehicle on three wheels through the finish line, it did not fully make the criteria. Therefore his 8th lap will not be counted. It was great effort regardless.

·  #1002 – His 2nd through his 6th lap will not be counted as these laps were completed using a different vehicle that was NOT Tech’d. You cannot change vehicle during the race! – Drivers were advised and since this was their first time racing, and certainly with AVE, a “warning” was issued.

·  Please check the results, names, spelling, etc. for any corrections. Let us know before the results become official.

·  IRC records will be published shortly after all units have been read by IRC and verified. There may be additional penalties as a result of IRC verification.

·  Once results become official, points will complied, Pro Payback will be sent (PROS: Remember to provide us with an IRS 1099 form if you haven’t sent us one yet.) plus Contingency declaration sheets by racer will be mailed directly to each Contingency Sponsor for processing. A copy will be made available upon request.

·  Next event is the DWT PURE “250” Presented by SXSPerformance.com – September 27-29, 2013 – We have a few major changes and announcements regarding the event coming soon!
