Call To Order:

President Mark Morgan called the meeting to order in the Community House Garden Room at 8:00 AM.

Mark Morgan thanked Jenny Ryan and Green Apple Bistro for hosting April’s breakfast.

Approval of Minutes:

Julia Wittenberg distributed the minutes for Jan Holloway.

Introductions:

Each attendee then introduced themselves and their business.

Financial Report: Treasurer Harry Koons reported a balance of $34,000.00 in the money market account. Harry also reported there were 201 paid members for 2007.

Mayors Report: Jake Der Hagopain filled in for Kevin Aberant. Mr. Der Hagopian is from the economic committee he gave the membership an update on the “Visioning Project. He spoke about parking & outdoor seating, online workshops, Planner – Tony Nelson to make presentation to community TBA, and also spoke about the RT 38 corridor. He also spoke about the alcohol referendum that will be out in Nov 07’.

Guest Speaker: Maryanne Alerdi, SJ Magazine – covered family issues ex. parenting, seniors and community issues. Maryanne Alerdi also spoke about Burlington, Gloucester, and Camden Counties.

vi.  6.16 – Moorestown Night @ The Phillies: Chair Mark Morgan: June 16th @ 3:55 pm, Major will throw first pitch, Theatre company to sing national anthem.
