You will use the science fiction novel we are reading in class to complete this assignment.
Create your own “COMING Attraction Poster.”
Your book is about to be made into a movie and you have been chosen to design the promotional poster.
- Your poster should include the title and author of the book, a list of the main characters and the actors who will play them.
- Your poster should also include pictures that gives people an idea of what the movie will be about. You can draw the pictures or print them from the computer.
- Your name should be written at the bottom of the poster.
- Attached to the poster should be a four-paragraph summary of the book. The first paragraph is 8-10 sentences because of the setting. Information about the setting should be embedded in the first paragraph of the summary.Paragraphs two, three, and four are each 5-7 sentences in length. The summary contains all of the major events of the story. Remember to utilize the novel packets to help write the summary. The first paragraph is about section one of the book, the second paragraph is about section two, the third paragraph is about section three, and the last paragraph is about section four.
- You will be giving an oral presentation on your report.
- Please see the rubric for how the report and oral presentation will be scored. The rubric will need to be turned in with the report.
- You may type your report or print neatly.
