About A&A
Founded in 1992, A&A Dies provides high-quality cutting dies with quick turn-around times. We began modestly, with one jigsaw, a few bending tools and big ideas to give one-hour quotes, provide one-day service and offer the highest level of customer service.
Our second year in business, we acquired copper die making equipment; soon to follow were the laser and automated rule bender. These pieces improved our quality ten-fold, allowing A&A to deliver better dies more quickly than ever before. In 2005, we added a second laser and automated rule bender, as well as a new waterjet for custom rubber cutting. Proudly, throughout all our growth, we have never lost focus of our original ideals-quality dies, one-hour quotes, one-day service and offering the highest level of customer service.
Customer Service
Attracting a new customer costs a company five times more than servicing an existing one, according to a survey conducted by the Michigan State University Extension, East Lansing, Mich. In fact, 65 percent of an average company's business comes from its present satisfied customers.
According to the Michigan State study, customers typically look for reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangibles. And while the survey showed that 96 percent of an operation's clients don't complain, 50 to 74 percent of customers who complain will do business with that company again if the complaint is resolved. I didn't know where else to send an email to you guys, so I hope this gets to the right person...
I submitted a small pocket folder cutting die on Sept 9th. After the die was submitted, I noticed in my file that the split in the flap didn't have the .125" inch space at the bottom of the fold. (The one that keeps the two pockets from touching when it's folded). I work for a print company, and I knew to put it there - it just slipped my mind. I lost sleep over it not being correct when it was delivered...
I would like to say thank you to whomever prepped my job. They apparently saw what I had overlooked, and fixed my mistake! This job had an extremely unrealistic deadline, and not only did y'all meet it, you saved my job. The folder folds perfectly.
I know, like us, you probably only get an email when you mess something up. But I would like to say keep up the good work. :)

COPPER ENGRAVING DIES
Our copper flat stamp dies are made from 1/4" thick premium grade copper. This not only allows for cleaner etches but also gives a more even heat distribution across the whole surface of the die, (especially important on large dies). We have the capabilities to etch plate sizes up to 15"x18" and can meet all your busy schedules, with one day service.

BRASS SCULPTURE and COMBINATION DIES
There are times when a flat stamp, combination or single level embossing die just won't give you the desired results you are looking for. In these cases you are going to need a brass-sculpture die. Our Brass sculpture dies will give you the multi-level depths which will enable your final piece to almost "jump out of the page"! To be able to achieve this almost 3-D effect, literally every die is sculptured out of a single piece of brass by hand! This allows the engraver to exercise his creative talents giving you an effect that is unsurpassed by any other finishing technique.
