Fitwize 4 Kids Birthday Party Outline

Party Prep

  • Talk with your birthday kid: what games would they like to have? Any special requests?
  • Decorate your studio; it’s a party! Make it festive! Use balloons, streamers, or banners.
  • Pack party bags with favors, example:

Paddle ball (Or other fitness related gift/toy)

Apple

Water Bottle

Fitwize buck

Fliers inviting kids to upcoming events

Welcome!!

  • Instructor(s) welcome all the kids and wish the guest of honor “Happy Birthday!”
  • Introduce yourself and instructors to the kids.
  • Give a brief introduction of fitwize 4 kids. Talk about the club and explain the flow of the circuit.
  • Tell the kids about Fitwize Bucks and show them fun prizes they can earn. Give them plenty of opportunity to earn Fitwize Bucks!

Circuit Time!!

Get started by telling all the kids to find a piece of equipment to begin.

Allow the kids to get into the rhythm of the rotations. Make sure that all your new kids are using equipment properly and having a good time! Party it up!!

Mix it up!!

At varying intervals pause the music and mix up the party using the following ideas:

  • Bring the kids together and have a hoop shoot: make one, and everybody does 20 jumping jacks. Miss one and everyone gets a Fitwize Buck!!
  • Rally the party with a nutrition or exercise trivia question.The first child to raise their hand and answer correctly wins a Fitwize Buck!!
  • Hoop Shoot, Part II: Ask a volunteer to try and make a shot, but change it up this time. If the volunteer makes the shot, give a Fitwize Buck. If the shot is missed, ten push-ups for everyone.

Finish up the circuit and bring all the kids together for additional party games, as requested by birthday kid. See below for great ideas and big party hits:

  • Hula-hoop contest
  • Jump rope contest
