Access for disabled customers

This apartment has gainedmobility level 2 status from the Tourist Board and has been designed with disabled customers in mind. It has waist height light switches and sockets, handrails, a portable wheelchair ramp available for use between the lounge and kitchen and out of the French doors onto the patio.There is a standardshower cubicle with handrailand a portable shower seat and raised toilet seat are available on request.

(N.B. the bathroom is situated off a small corridor from the bedroom. Whilst the whole apartment is self-contained, for non-family members sharing, access is also availableto the bathroom from the first floor landing.

General informationapplicable to Marina Holiday Apartments

Parking–Apartments 1,2 and 3a come with 1 visitor’s parking permit (24/7) per week / short stay for on-street parking for Controlzone B that the property occupies.Apartment 1 alsohas rear access, and space for 1 small economy sized caror motorbikes / scooters parked at owner’s risk.Apartment 3 comes with up to 2 parking permits included per week.

Smoking -This is a non-smoking establishment. A smoking area is available outside in the front forecourt and for customers of Apartment 1there is the rear patio area.

Pets –With the exception in Apartment 1 of up to 2 small to medium dogs except for the school summer holiday season (supplement applies), and guide / assistance dogs for disabled customers in Apartment 1 permitted all year round, pets are not permitted at this property without the express permission of the proprietir. Please specify requirements at the time of enquiring/booking..

Linen / towels -Duvetsand pillows are provided. However, bedding and towels are not included in the standard price as many customers prefer to bring their own to make the stay more economical. Linen packs can, however, be optionally hired at £8.00 per pack for a double bed with 1 bath and 1 hand towel each for 2 persons (or £7.00for double bedding with towels for 1 person) and £5 per week/ stay for a single bed.

Families welcome - A high chair, travel cot, nappy bins, and baby intercom are available for use subject to availability. Also for Apartments 3/3a, stair gates are available if required.These items need to be pre-booked on the booking form and subject to availability

Walkers -Each apartment has an area for coats & shoes / boots to dry.Details of local walksare available.There is a Cost Cutter nearby open until 10pm and a large Tesco supermarket on Hilderthorpe Road at the top of Windsor Crescent
