MEETING MINUTES

DECEMBER 15, 2009

OPENING AND ATTENDANCE

The regularly scheduled meeting of the DELJIS Project Steering Committee was held on Tuesday,

December 15, 2009, at the DelDOT Conference Center, Smyrna Rest Area, Smyrna, DE. Ms. Lynn Gedney called the meeting to order at 10:03 a.m. Those in attendance included:

I. REVIEW OF OCTOBER MINUTES

Minutes of the November 17, 2009, Project Steering Committee meeting were reviewed. Mr. Mark Bunitsky made a motion to approve the minutes and Mr. Kevin Agne seconded the motion.

II. DEVELOPMENT

·  PROJECT STATUS REPORT OVERVIEW

The committee reviewed the Project Status Report.

·  Database Cleanup: The totals are included on the Status Report.

·  Validation Project: Vendor continues working with test file and validation update transactions are being coded by DCI.

·  Prosecution Charging Initiative: Vel Mico contract has ended and all requested documentation and programs have been delivered. DELJIS will review after E-Crash is up and running.

·  CANDLE/AISLE: Pending DCI. Still waiting on new switch conversion. Project is on hold until switch is in production.

·  Criminal History Utilization and Report Enhancements: Web Charge Summaries were released and also the DOJ print during case creation. The Adjudication Summary has been added to the document reprint menus. Mr. Mark Bunitsky and Mr. Kevin Agne discussed a problem with inaccurate disposition data for Juveniles and the need for acceptable criteria for the Family Court Adjudication Summary.

·  E-Crash: Training classes have been ongoing throughout December at DELJIS. Manuals are in print and available online. E-Crash will go Live on December 28, 2009 and TRACS will only be utilized to complete old incidents after this date.

·  AUTOMATED SYSTEM USAGE STATISTICS

The committee reviewed the statistics for the LEISS warrants, criminal summons, E-Ticket

and E-Parking.

·  REVIEW OF COTS/CJIS INTERFACES

Nothing new to report.

III. OPERATIONS

·  Maintenance: It was reported that there are 44 open maintenance requests, 0 new requests and

1 closed since the November report.

·  Maintenance Reporting: Bi-weekly meetings continue with DTI to resolve any problems. DELJIS is working with DTI to create a common list of requests.

IV. SYSTEM QUALITY AND ACCESSIBILITY

·  There is a scheduled system intermittent outage for the Public Defender and JIC on

December 16, 2009 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

·  The IPL time is extended on December 20, 2009 from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

VII. ADJOURNMENT

With there being no further business to discuss, a motion to adjourn was made by Mr. Mark Bunitsky and seconded by Ms. Kathy Bates. The motion was carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 10:10 a.m.
