WHEN AND WHERE IS THE EVENT?

WHERE DOES THE FOOD & FUNDS GO?
All food & proceeds from the event will go to Long Island Cares/The Harry Chapin Food Bank whose mission is to bring together all available resources for the benefit of the hungry on Long Island. For more information please click on
WHAT ARE THE EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE DAY?
The Hauppauge Soccer Club will host a series of intramural clinics and “friendly’s” against other towns throughout the day. All kids 10 and under are invited to the soccer clinic at 10am behind the high school. Additionally, there will be live music from some of Long Island’s best cover bands, a great barbecue, a raffle featuring an assortment of prizes, face-painting and inflatable rides for the kids.
I AM A SOCCER COACH, HOW CAN I HELP?
All Hauppauge Soccer intramural, interleague and travel teams are invited to play. As an intramural coach you can help by contacting your team to have the players participate in the free clinic. We also ask that each team bring non-perishable food and donate a raffle item. Gift cards work and creativity is encouraged. We ask that the raffle item be worth $50-$75 in value.
Interleague and travel coaches are asked to invite an opposing travel team to play a 50-minute “friendly.” The opposing team should be asked to bring food, donate an item worth $50-$75 in value for our raffle and stick around to listen to the live music and eat the great food.
HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER?
Adults can contact Joe Grippo by email at to volunteer their time or services. Any connections to entertainment, equipment, food, beverage, celebrities, politicians or prizes will be considered.
Students can contact June Segal by email at to volunteer their time. Student volunteer assignments will be on a first-come first served basis. Community service time will be determined by the volunteer committee and all community service hours will be documented accordingly.
Hours available: Set-up - 8am-10am Event Duty - 10am – 4pmClean-up - 4pm-6pm

WHERE & WHEN CAN I DROP OFF FOOD AND/OR RAFFLE PRIZES?
Non-perishable food can be dropped off day of event between 10am & 3pm at the half-circle driveway on Lincoln Avein front of Hauppauge High School.
We ask that raffle items (baskets, memorabilia, gift cards) be dropped off day of event between 9am – 10am at the half-circle driveway on Lincoln Ave in front of Hauppauge High School. Raffle items also may be dropped off prior to the event at: 19 Lori Way, Hauppauge, NY 11788.
