FFA WASHINGTON LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

JUNE – JULY 2018 – WASHINGTON, D.C.

The Maine FFA Association is offering in 2018, at least three scholarships, each in the amount of $900, to be awarded to outstanding FFA student applicants. To be eligible, each applicant must: be an FFA member; have completed at least one year in FFA; and have completed the following application. Applicants should have reviewed available information published by the National FFA Organization regarding the Washington Leadership Conference to be sure that they wish to participate in this experience and that they will be available during at least one of the dates listed. Applicants should realize that scholarship does not cover travel costs to and from Conference.

This application is due to the State Advisor by February 6, 2018. No applications received after that time will be accepted.

The application must be typed or printed, have all required signatures, and be accompanied by two letters of recommendation---one from an Officer in the applicant’s FFA Chapter, and one from either a Teacher or Administrator at the applicant’s school.

In order to receive scholarship funds, successful applicants will also be required to complete and submit all paperwork required by the National FFA to attend W.L.C., sending a copy to the State Advisor. For additional information, please see FFA website: / Participate / Conferences / WLC
