NOTICE FOR INVITATION OF SINGLE STAGE TWO ENELOP BID FOR “ROAD MAKING MACHINERY UNDER APPROVED SCHEME (PROCUREMENT OF MACHINERY, TOOLS EQUIPMENTS AND VEHICLES FOR GB PWD (REVISED)”
In continuation to this office notice inviting tender vide No. EE-Maint/Cashier/ Notice/2017-18/ dated 11th October, 2017. Published in daily K-2 News Paper dated 12th October 2017, is hereby cancelled and fresh notice inviting tender called of even No dated 13th October 2017. The last date for submission of Technical & Financial Proposal re-scheduled on 13th November, 2017.
1. Public Works Department Gilgit-Baltistan is mandated for construction, Repair, rehabilitation of Govt infrastructure interms of road, bridges and building etc in Gilgit-Baltistan.
2. The public works department Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed bids for “Road Making Machinery under approved scheme (Procurement of Machinery, Tools Equipments and Vehicles for GB PWD (Revised)” from well reputed registered manufacturers, authorized dealers / suppliers and Firms registered with PEC having specification code of Supply of Machinery / equipments.
Detail of machinery are as under:-

3. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased, on payment of a nonrefundable fee of Rs. 5000/- (Pak Rupees Five Thousand Only) between 0900 hours to 1200 hours from Executive Engineer, Maintenance Division PWD Gilgit near Eidgah Konodas Gilgit Circle Office 1st Floor. 4. Single stage two envelop bidding procedure will be adopted.
5. The last date for submission of Bidding Proposals is 13th November, 2017 at 1200 hours and Technical Proposal will be opened on the same date at 12:30 PM, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend in the office of the Executive Engineer Maintenance Division PWD Gilgit Eidgh Gah Konodas Gilgit. An amount of equal to 3% of bid security in the name of Executive Engineer Maintenance Division PWD Gilgit, shall be accomplished with the biding document.
6. Detail of similar machineries manufactured by the manufacturer, detail of machineries supplied to Pakistan by the manufacturer and manufacturing company/ workshop facilities & personnel capability must be provided.
7. The financial proposals of responsive bidders will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend at the time and date and at the address to be advised by the Procurement Committee after evaluation of the technical proposals. The costs are to be inclusive of all taxes/ Insurance and transportation charges, which will be borne by the supplier.
8. The place of delivery will be GB PWD Workshop at Konodas, near Eidgah, Gilgit.
9. Successful bidder shall be responsible to supply spare parts whenever up needed till 05 years on market price / rate.
10. The purchase Committee reserves the right to accept any one or reject one or all bids intimating reason to the bidder thereof, as per PPRA Rule-33.

2. Tender copy can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on cash payment as shown above work (not refundable) on any working day upto one day before the date of opening of tender, as per following terms and conditions: -
a. Tender form shall be issued to the Govt. Contractor in person on production of original CNIC, PEC Registration certificate 2017 and renewal fee receipt 2017-18 of Works Department GB.
- Tender form shall be issued to contractors in persons as per relevant category.
- Contractors /Firms should provide 2% E/Money of total bid cost in shape of deposit at call in the name of Executive Engineer Maintenance Division Gilgit from any schedule bank of Pakistan.
- Tender copy shall not be issued to contractors who have already in hand 02 projects.
- Tender copy shall not be issued to contractors who have delayed already awarded projects.
- No tender will be sold on the date of opening of tender.
- The contractor who have not in litigation with the Department and not blacklisted.
- Conditional tender will not be accepted.
Note: The Procuring agency may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal under the provision of Rule-33 of PPRA Rules 2004.
