CMHA Nipissing has two vacancies for Housing-Based Case Managers. These positions are based on 1.0FTE, working 35 hours a week. These individuals will work with the CMHA Housing Success team, TRHP and the Forensic team at the NBRHC to provide long term supports designed to help forensic participants remain stably housed while still meeting the requirements of the Ontario Review Board.oHousing Success tea
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in health or social sciences;
Minimum three years’ experience providing direct service for individuals living with multiple special needs and psychiatric disabilities on a one to one and team basis;
Demonstrated knowledge of mental illnesses, treatments and support options.
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Computer literacy;
Valid class G license and use of sufficiently insured vehicle;
Bilingualism in French and English an asset;
Must provide current Vulnerable SectorCPIC;

- What do you feel is the most important thing to remember when working with individuals living with mental illness? How would you use this approach when working in housing services?
